Polyethylene pipes for water distribution:
1. Material: PE 80, PE 100 having the following specifications:
- density >930 kg/m³,
- Melting Flow Rate (MFR) for Group 005 is 0,2÷0,7 g/10 min (190/5),
- Melting Flow Rate (MFR) for Group 010 is 0,7÷1,3 g/10 min (190/5),
2. Working temperature: -25÷90°C.
3. Advantages of PE pipes:
- low specific gravity,
- mantain flexibility, brittleness and cracking resistance even in low temperatures,
- chemical and biological corrosion resistant,
- environmentally neutral,
- low resistance of flow,
- good tolerance of long-lasting stress (approx. 50 years).
4. Joining system:
- by butt welding,
- using compression fittings,
- using electrofusion fittings.
5. Colour: blue, black.
